The Arc of Ventura County, in cooperation with Ventura Adult & Continuing Education, provides programs for the developmentally disabled, mentally ill, and other individuals who are differently abled. Community Access Skills and Functional Academics

This class is designed to assist the student with mental, emotional, or physical limitations to increase awareness of one’s own and others’ disabilities and to develop communication, self-care, daily living, reading, writing, computational, socialization, and community resource skills for greater independence within the community and at place of residence.
